AI Apps-Assistants OR Threats??

Are Artificial Intellagence Apps Helpful Assistants, OR A Direct Threat To Humans?

Thinking back 20 years ago, who could have imagined how far we would come in technology? As I've continue to reasearch the capability of AI apps, I continue to be amazed. However, even more so is the way that they have become an integrated "way of life" within so many industries! If you would have told me five years ago that someone could utilize an app to magically create slide shows, write an HR investigative report or use as a teacher's assistant I don't know that I would have believed you 100%.

It's become so common within our professional world that there are hundreds of apps to provides hundreds of assistance with whatever you may need help with. The app https://www.teach-anything.com/ is specifically intreging to me because it provides ideas and explanations on how to teach any subject to any type of student. On one hand this is an amazing tool for teachers to utilize to add to their lesson plan, or on a day where they are feeling mentally "stuck", this may provides a way to get those creative juices flowing and help start or finish a lesson plan.

However, I started to think about what issues that allowed, and the new problems it might cause. First of all, AI is not a human and too many people may become very dependent utilizing a tool out of convience, even though their brain is completely capable of planning, strategizing and teaching. For the example of teachers, what does it show the students? Well, that depends on whether it is being utilized as a crutch 100% or a resource.

AI is definetly not going anywhere, and it is something we need to embrace responsibly as teachers, students, professionals, artists and individuals. It is important to learn how this tool can provide assistance to do what you were doing 110%, instead of just 100%. I think that by utilizing it as a tool allows society to reach so many more goals.

  1. Great content, AI is here to stay it's just a matter of how "we" use it, and hopefully are responsible enough to use it for the better. I have already seen it used negatively in Political ads. Thanks for the knowledge.

What is "ThingLink?" and how does it stack up to the "Old Fashioned" way of learning?? There are several new technology apps that provide ways to interact with others, especially during trainings. It really is amazing to see how technology has evolved, and what is available to help convey ideas or theories to students/learners.  ThingLink is a platform that allows users to create interactive images and videos. You can add links, information, and multimedia content to specific parts of your image or video, making it engaging and informative.  Although this app can be utilized in many different educational scenarios, the one scenario that grabbed my attention was virtual fieldtrips!! How in the world is this possible?? I come from an era that thrived on school field trips!!  Is it possible to provide the same experience virtually? I guess it depends on how you look at it. I think the whole idea of a field trip is to get away, to share an experience with your class...

Brain Breaks-Dancing Stress Away!

Brain Breaks Dancing the stress away...Does it really work? Taking a brain break and dancing to an upbeat song can be a rejuvenating experience, offering a regrshing break from your daily demands. Picture yourself in the midst of a hectic workday, feeling the weight of deadlines and responsibilities. With an overwhelming sense of the need to recharge, you decide to take a quick break. You put on your favorite upbeat song, the rythm pulsating through your body as you let go of tension and stress. With each beat, you feel your energy levels rise, and soon you find yourself moving to the music, letting the cares of the day slip away. I tried taking a brain break last week, in the middle of the day when I found the tension rising into my shoulders and neck. I knew I needed a break, and lucky for me I have my own office! So I scrolled through my music and found an oldie, but a goodie, hit start and let the music take over. It didn't take but a couple of seconds for the surge of endorp...
